This week the “Eight of Cups“ arrives with a loving nudge (OK slight push 😆) that it’s time to walk away, leave the past behind, and let go of whatever no longer serves you. This may feel a bit emotional, and that’s okay, but do it anyway. Summon that inner God/Goddess, King/Queen, rebel energy and choose you! 👑
Trust that you have gotten all that you need from the past and that there’s no need to carry it forward any longer. Your past has helped shape who you are. Take the lessons with you, but leave the rest. No more repeated cycles or stories that have kept you on a loop or held you back.
Often when we are on the brink of newness, fear arises. But in truth, that is just our ego wanting to keep us small, safe and in the familiar. But safe and familiar is not where growth happens. The fear is only an indication that you are on the brink of something big. It gives us information, but it is not prophecy or premonition. And if we look at it with compassion and curiosity, it’s like turning on the light. Suddenly, it doesn’t have as much power.
The “Nine of Swords” acknowledges the fear, worry, and overthinking that can come with that. The angels want you to know they hear your thoughts and understand your fears, but they are asking you not to mistake them for truth.
Our thoughts create our reality. If we are so focused on our fears, not only has it stolen our peace, but this is the energy we are calling in. Focus on joy. Focus on what makes you feel alive. Focus on what you are grateful for and what you would love to call into your life. Give yourself permission to embrace the unknown with wonder, curiosity, and the knowledge that anything is possible…. AND that you are worthy of receiving it. (Because you are!)
This is a week of taking your power back. Of standing at the threshold of fear and choosing to walk through it anyway. Because on the other side may just be the new beginning you’ve been asking for. A new dawn filled with new opportunities, experiences, and endless possibility.
